Abstract Paintings by Artist Simon Kenny

Hi Folks,

Its been a few months since my last posting so I have lots of new abstract paintings to show you. I've been working flat out month on month testing the limits of my creativity but I can honestly say its a labour of love and the work has been flowing steadily so I'm really happy with how the paintings have turned out.

The paitings have been created in my preferred mediums, oil, acrylic, enamel and mixed media but I've also started experimenting with inks, something I haven't worked with for many years.

The most recent oil paintings are either abstracted landscapes, abstracted seascapes or abstracted skyscapes or my vibrant expressionist colourburst pieces which are predominantly mixed media.

As there have been so many paintings created I thought rather than spend hours typing loads of waffle I'll give you a brief heading with the necessary details and hopefully the work can speak for its self.

SIMON KENNY'S LATEST ABSTRACT PAINTINGS ON CANVAS

Hi Folks,

I've been working flat out creating new paintings over the last few months so there's lots of work to show you. There are a large number of vibrant mixed media abstract colourburst paintings as well as a handful of abstracted landscape paintings created in oil. I've also have had another painting " Prophesy" chosen as the cover of the upcoming book " The Meillassoux Dictionary" by Peter Gratton and Paul Ennis. The book will be published later this year in both hardback and paperback edition. This is the second painting in the past I've had selected for a book cover as well three pieces chosen for album covers which really fantastic knowing my work is proving so popular.
